My name is Holden Nagelberg, and I'm the founder of Sole Provisions. Things have come a long way for our company since we opened our first store in Huntington, New York back in 1997. If you told me then that within 15 years we'd be doing 95% of our business online, I would have said you were crazy! We have been very fortunate to align ourselves with some incredible brands, and combined with our never ending effort to provide the best customer service possible, we have been growing every year. THANK YOU to all of our you that have loyally shopped us, tried our new brands, and have told your friends and family about us. We have the best customers anywhere!!!!
The last few weeks have been pretty crazy around here. As most of you know, we have finally launched our new website, and obviously we have had a few nervous days as we made sure everything was working properly. Although we are still running into things we need to fix here and there, for the most part everything has been extremely smooth, and hopefully you have all enjoyed shopping on our "new and improved" site. I think the best new feature is the ability to filter your search results by size. For those of you that haven't checked it out yet, it all happens in the left hand navigation menu. All you need to do is pick your desired brand(s) or category, and then click on your size. This will tell our system to only show you the items we have available in your size, so you don't have to click into product pages anymore to figure out if we actually have something you're looking for. This is especially helpful when you're shopping for new "hot" items, or clearance styles.
We're thrilled to say the response to our new site has been overwhelmingly positive, but if there is anything you want to tell us could work better, please let us know! Just click onto the testimonials link on the site or click here to give us our thoughts. We picked up a bunch of problems from customer feedback the first couple of days, so please help us by telling us about your experience using the site.
One of the main reasons we updated our site was to be able to bring you more great brands. Our old system was getting "maxed out", and we want to make sure we can continue giving you the best comfort brands we can find. Look out for Dansko and a great new clog from Chung Shi called "Dux" coming soon!! I'll always keep you posted through this blog on new and exciting things on the way.
